Insurance & Insurance reimbursement
For insurance, I am contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield; clients with BCBS insurance will typically just pay a co-pay or co-insurance at the time of each session.
If you do not have BCBS insurance, but have out-of-network benefits on your insurance plan, I am happy to provide a superbill (invoice) to you that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Superbill clients pay the standard session fee of $200 up front at the time of each session, and take full responsibility for managing reimbursement from their insurance plan. I recommend contacting your insurance directly to inquire about reimbursement and whether there is a separate out-of-network deductible on your plan.
Clients who do not have out-of-network benefits on their plan are considered out-of-pocket clients and will pay the session fee of $200 at the time of each session. Session fees, co-pays, and co-insurance are all collected via credit card on file (all major credit cards, HSA & FSA cards), using Ivy Pay, a HIPAA-secure app for therapists.
